It's hilarious how many people think Elena was full of herself but defend Caroline's terrible behavior the whole series. Caroline isnt some little girl. Elena and her were the same age, and Caroline was a spoiled brat most of the series while Elena actually had severe trauma and loss. And when someone tells you not to do something because they did it, it isn't making it about them. They're warning you NOT to be them. A lot of you need to grow up 😂

All those people hating on elena, caroline or any other woman in the show isn't the main character for a reason. Elena's biggest quality was her humanity, her compassion and then you bring up Katherine or caroline. Katherine was a selfish and bitter person, she didn't care about anyone else other than herself and I understand where she's coming from but she didn't even TURN HER HUMANITY OFF and she was still that cruel. And caroline only got better because of the circumstances, when she was a human she was a disgusting and awful person and now she's a vampire and shes appealing at times dosent mean she's not that person anymore and it SHOWS cause even when elena or any other person for a fact tries to help her, she just attacks their character and their choices. And elena having feelings is the only reason that most of the people are alive in the show. Cause SHE didn't have the heart to leave them to die. Not to mention caroline dates half of elena's exes. Like how obsessed with a person can you be.

All they had to do was leave her alone. Stefan and Elena had no reason to judge her and she was much more functional than they ever could be. All those extra deaths because she had Stefan turn his humanity off could've been avoided if they just listened. Also weird how any of them actually believe they're still "good people" after any of this 😂

Caroline was always jealous of Elena. Caroline always had to fight for attention when Elena had it naturally. Everyone would die for Elena. And two of Caroline boyfriends were dumped by Elena.
