Met Gala 2026 RECAP: Big Fashion and Even BIGGER Star Power — From Beyoncé to Rihanna
Blake Lively, Beyonce, Nicole Kidman and more were on hand for the 2026 Met Gala, aka fashion’s biggest night. Blake walked the carpet with a bejeweled Judith Lieber bag, including her kid’s artwork, just hours after settling her long-gestating lawsuit against her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star/director Justin Baldoni. Nicole Kidman posed with her daughter, Sunday Rose, while Beyoncé walked the carpet with her eldest, Blue Ivy, and husband, JAY-Z! Music icons Rihanna and A$AP Rocky kept their tradition of arriving fashionably late, closing down the carpet. Inside, Sabrina Carpenter joined Stevie Nicks on stage for a pop-up performance.

At the 2026 Met Gala, Madonna delivered a striking gothic vision in a custom Saint Laurent ensemble by Anthony Vaccarello. Inspired by Leonora Carrington's haunting artwork The Temptation of St. Anthony, Fragment II, the look blurred the line between fine art and couture, perfectly embodying the “Costume Art” theme.
