This has got to be the most well-put-together ensemble I have seen at the Met Gala, as of yet. The concept is executed flawlessly, in my opinion. From the “cut” of the dress, to the addition of the train, the hairstyle, the diamonds in the hair/attached from the back of her neck to her middle fingers/embedded in the film, the makeup, the bustle, the plain black stilettos. Everything about this ‘gala getup’ sings, “classic, yet modern, Hollywood” feeling. Amazing team that put all of this together, and a fantastic choice for the modeled person wearing this. Definitely a memorable work-of-art for decades to come, in my opinion. A “Masterpiece” of its own kind. First place, to me.
