I mean they kind of just repurposed Hips don’t lie for the German one.

When I was a child, Shalkira was a hot singer making songs for footbal events in her 20s. I’m an adult now, and Shaira is still in her 20s making songs for footbal events.

This is the third WC song she’s made and probably the weaksest one, but anything is better than Jelly Roll. I really don’t like Burna Boy though, so that’s dissapointing.

      A while song about welshmen?

Seriously though, it’s gonna bang hard on the radio, on the beaches and in the fan parksand stadiums. Just sell Fifa to Shakira.

I’ll always bop around to a new Shakira track, but I am disappointed she’s working with a pro-Russia, pro-Saudi Arabia, pro-Qatar organization like FIFA again.

      Again Shakira? Why?
I’m “old” and her last song feels like 7 years ago at most. She can’t top Waka Waka anyway. She should have said no.

Wasn’t there some controversy over the proceeds for Waka Waka or something?

So the Jello song wasn’t the official one?

Between her World Cup songs and her Zootopia songs my kids are absolute Shakira stans! They’ll be delighted.

It’s cute. My favorite World Cup song will always be Ricky Martin’s The Cup of Life though.

Unfortunately there’s not much spirit in it.

Every artist is jumping on the occasion to make a WC song but theyre approaching it algorithmically and not passionately. There’s an Anitta song with collabs about to be released and I have a hunch it’ll be even more soulless and money-grabby alas
