I know you’re not obligated to be friends with your colleagues but it always makes me happy to hear stories of costars having a friendship off screen. I’m not sure why, maybe it makes me feel like these press runs are more authentic?

I think it’s the same anecdote they told during the first press tour. They were way more fun that time around playing into their friendship when they had to sell that franchise hard 🤣 I don’t really believe they’re friends by now but they’ll cross paths a lot in the industry being the biggest names of their generation, that’s fine too
I wish shippers hadn’t ruined this friendship. It was so fun and wholesome and then people had to make it weird by saying they’re in love and theorizing all these wild stories of love triangles and secret meetings, etc.

If you watch this whole interview it’s actually very awkward and it’s obvious that the entire cast is not a fan of chalamet. They all were so comfortable with each other and had to extract a story from years before to relate to Timothee and it sounded like they hadn’t spent any time together since then. That was the first time I was like “hmm why does no one seem to like him”.
