  2. I have so many questions about slide 14. Gonna need to blow that up on desktop later and future out what is going on

  3. This concept is so strange, it doesn’t seem to align with her brand whatsoever. The Americana, trashy, Route 66 vibe doesn’t fit for a European pop star who makes bouncy dance music. And if it is meant to reference her new album being subtitled “Girls Trip” this shoot does little to evoke that.

  4. ExtremeComedian4027 on

I don’t know why these are edited to all heck. She’s already so beautiful. They made her face look like not like her face.

  5. Personal-Sentence935 on

14 looks like something you’d see on a teen boy’s walls in the 1980s, and I mean that as a compliment.

kinda zoolander in a stupid+fun+sexy way.

  6. Technical-Mistake122 on

This kind of gives 2007 Maxim. Nothing really being said here other than showcasing her body and a loose americana theme. Nothing wrong with that, just underwhelming shots imo and seem off brand.

  7. No_Pianist5264 on

Normally I like her shoots but this doesn’t give off her aesthetics at all

  8. My mid-millennial brain is broken by the 2004 vibes of this shoot. That fashion era was bad enough the first time. Do we really need to also bring back the greasy photo shoots determined to objectify women in the least sexy way possible?

  9. Fantastic_Love_9451 on

When did it get decided that all female pop stars need to look like strippers?

Coming in here and seeing people didn’t read the article

This feels almost lifted straight from Girls Aloud’s Wake Me Up. Not sure we entirely need the 2004 flashback!

  12. hopefulrealist23 on

I’m sensing a theme here, lol. She does these kinds of male-gazey photoshoots. Just look at her music video with Tyla. Media portrayal of women is regressing

  13. whichwitch9 on

So, they gave her a basic pin-up photo shoot, with fairly confusing “gasoline” and fake dirty dress photos, and that is edited to hell.

Oof. I’ve seen AI photos that look better than the editing on these, and I think AI looks tacky af

  14. Disobedientmuffin on

It’s reminding me of Paris Hilton “eating” a burger on top of a car.

  15. AngelSpice123 on

Eh this is a bit too male gaze to be interesting to me, love her music tho!

  16. Silver_Brother_56 on

Is ‘Paris Hilton on a Maxim cover circa 2003’ really the nachos we want to reheat in 2026?

  17. InTheWitchingHour on

conservatives in power & women immediately get objectified in pop culture to levels unseen since the early 2000s. but every self proclaimed liberal is too choice-feminist brained to even think critically about this.

  18. InTheWitchingHour on

why isn’t it the (unspoken) strict rule for male stars to “embrace their sexuality” by degrading themselves, posing almost nude, hairless, with a ton of makeup that’s meant to remind us of p+rn?

gee i wonder why. and i wonder why this aesthetic, along with tradwife aesthetic, the red pill, conservatives in power and women’s rights being taken away?

well god think “choice feminism” is getting popular now and we programmed ourselves that feminist critique is actually “pearl clutching” and every choice is feminist and we should shut down our brains, accept the patriarchy as is and never do anything uncomfortable.

    i hate it here.

Pic 8 perfectly showing the difference between her actual hair and her extensions is so rude

  20. greenfrog72 on

She looks incredible BUT as someone who has followed her for years I just wish she would be honest about getting on ozempic. Because it’s honestly sooooo obvious she did something to all of a sudden drop 20 lbs from her already very toned form… she was already working out all the time, dancing, had good muscle but was being body shamed by Azealia. Just be totally for real and say you went on peptides like every other celeb. Just bothers me since I see so many young girls obsessing over her body and she’s so “real” about everything

  21. SmallPromiseQueen on

Pic 1, 6 and 8 are amazing. I think if they stuck with just those three I’d like the set a lot more.

Also I wish my butt looked like that 😂

  22. sweeterthanadonut on

Eugh, just not my aesthetic. Very early 2000s in a way I don’t vibe with lol. Just kind of a bunch of nothing.

  23. Sexyhorsegirl666 on

Very dissapointing and boring. This is just made for men, sadly.

  24. Bubbly-End-6156 on

I think they overdid the makeup. She has these uncommon small eyes that really make her unique. And beautiful/memorable. They did so much to open her eyes that she looks like every filtered ig model.

She’s hot, she’ll be happy she took these pictures in 40 years. No harm no foul

I wish we’d stop “fixing” all the parts of us that are different in photos. People looking unique is human.

Rant over, this reminds me of Jess Simpson’s Daisy Duke era. Fun throwback.

Oh! Or that Carl’s Jr sloppy burger commercial from the 00s.

  25. Economy-Isopod1695 on

This cover eats. This girl really does have everything but the music.
