Her mom must be full of incredible advice, seeing how Elle and Dakota turned out. The entertainment industry is not made with children’s best interests at heart but the Fanning sisters seem pretty well adjusted despite it all.

Any advice for someone who doesn’t want to be perceived or defined?

My boys are young but we talk about this a LOT. Tell them they gotta learn how to take their Ls
. Anyone can be nice when they’re getting what they want it’s how we treat people in the struggle and behind closed doors. Kindness and empathy all day around here!

The only note I have relating to my mum in my phone is a quote from her “you were such a little treasure, should’ve buried you.” Thanks mum! And happy Mother’s Day everyone!

With the current discourse around ‘narcissists’ going on, now seems like a good time to point out that when disappointed, these are the type of people to have full meltdowns over it, rather than letting that little sting of failure/embarrassment get them for a minute.

I love her new show Margo Has Money Troubles (sorry if I got the name wrong, regardless, I love it)
