EastEnders actress Tracy-Ann Oberman has publicly called for ITV to take action over Nadia Sawalha’s social media videos.
The Loose Women regular was reported to have been dropped from her role on the show this week, but she has since rejected the claims that she has been removed.
The 61-year-old panellist, who returned to the daytime show in 2013 after an earlier stint beginning in 1999, was last seen on screen at the end of April and is reportedly not scheduled to appear in upcoming episodes.
According to insiders, the supposed dropping related to the YouTube channel she operates alongside her husband Mark Adderley, which has faced accusations of featuring “increasingly conspiratorial” material.

Among the allegations levelled at the husband and wife duo are suggestions that material on their joint channel celebrated the “courage” of the Hamas October 7 attacks and promoted conspiracy theories linking Jewish people to the September 11 attacks and the Bondi Beach massacre in Australia.
Reacting to the reports, Ms Sawalha took to Instagram over the weekend to deny that she’d been axed.
“I’ve just turned my phone on, and it’s literally gone mad,” she said to her followers.
“Don’t worry, guys, there’s loads of lies going around at the moment, one of which is that I’ve been suspended from Loose Women.

“I have not been suspended from Loose Women, but thank you for your lovely messages.”
While Ms Sawalha may have denied the reports, several public figures have called on ITV to bring a suspension to fruition.
Most notable is Jewish actress and fellow former EastEnders star Ms Oberman, who took to X to publicly call for more to be done by the broadcaster.
She penned: “Can someone make this level of hatred and malevolence make sense? @loosewomen @ITV please have a look and offer her some help and advice.”

Ms Oberman was reacting to a video shared by GB News regular Carol Malone, in which Ms Sawalha appeared to mock those who’d been subjected to antisemitic abuse.
In the clip posted by Ms Malone, Ms Sawalha says: “And if it all goes wrong, you can just say everyone’s been antisemitic.”
She then proceeds to sarcastically wipe tears from her eyes while mockingly asking: “What about me? What about me?”
In a separate X post, Ms Oberman replied directly to Ms Malone. “Carole I think she needs proper psychiatric help. This level of hatred and malevolence is not remotely acceptable,” the actress said.

GB News has contacted ITV and Ms Sawalha’s representatives for comment.
Several of Ms Oberman’s followers were quick to agree with her stance towards Ms Sawalha, including another GB News regular, Adam Brooks, who simply branded the Loose Women star “vile.”
Ms Sawalha also caused controversy after she publicly defended her husband following his suspension from the Green Party, posting a 21-minute video on social media in which she described him as “the most decent kind, super smart man with the hugest of hearts.”
The former EastEnders actress attributed the backlash to sinister influences, declaring in a YouTube video: “We’ve been punished all along, right from when we first started talking about Palestine.
“The dark forces behind everything that you see is quite extraordinary, I have to tell you.”
She maintained that Mr Adderley’s actions had been “totally altruistic” and characterised his current situation as punishment for “bravely” advocating for Palestinians in ways few others have dared.
The Campaign Against Antisemitism has previously questioned Ms Sawalha’s choice of language, with a spokesperson asking: “What sort of ‘dark forces’ is Nadia Sawalha referring to?”
The organisation added: “You expect spouses to be loyal, but appearing to double down on the sort of conspiratorial tropes that her husband has been promoting and that presumably prompted his suspension from the Green Party is not the way to go about it.”
Labour Against Antisemitism has also weighed in, with Alex Hearn telling the Daily Mail: “Nadia Sawalha has been posting vile, unhinged rants online for some time now.
“It is time ITV took action against her, before she does serious damage to the reputation of one of Britain’s oldest broadcasters.”
