She’s been in so many terrible movies surely she’s built up enough karmic energy to end up winning an Academy Award for the next one, right? Right???

Last I had read about the Baker film, Ruth Negga was suppose to be playing her. Too bad, I like Ruth better.
Do wish they went with someone else but we’ll see how this goes
I can kinda see it, but I’m still not fully convinced until we actually see footage from the movie.
She’s an excellent dancer, I’m not sure how she’d be as an actor.
I really liked the old Josephine Baker TV biopic with Lynn Whitfield from the early 90s.
This is interesting because I don’t think she’s a good actor but from a PR standpoint, I don’t believe she would be a huge box office draw either.
why can’t we give these roles to actual actors over artists that are trying to be multi-hyphenates? it’s unfair and even as a twigs fan, don’t think this is a great move. i guess we’ll see how well the movie does when it’s out

She’s such a bad actress, it’s like watching a high school theater performance every time she’s onscreen
