Martin Short Breaks Silence On Daughter’s Death In Emotional 1st Interview

Martin Short is speaking publicly for the first time about the sudden death of his daughter, Katherine Short, calling the loss a “nightmare for the family.” Katherine, the eldest of three children adopted by Martin and his late wife, Nancy Dolman, passed away in February at age 42. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed the cause of death as suicide. Speaking to CBS News Sunday Morning on May 10 in his first on-camera interview since his daughter’s passing, the 76-year-old comedian reflected on the heartbreaking losses of both his daughter and wife.
