Actresses need to be much more vocal warning younger girls to never get on a yacht when they’re trying to break into the entertainment industry.
Damn that’s crazy. I’m not saying anyone was going to hurt her, but she couldn’t say no, because of the implication.
‘very famous’.. Then say who? If they could turn your close trusted friend into a traitor they’ve done it to many other young stars too and should be called out on it…

This is the grimiest thing about Hollywood. How many famous and talented women never made it to the big screen because they didn’t allow a producer or his friends to sleep with them?
Not to make light of it, but the Implication scene of Always Sunny is so spot on about the different forms of rape. Like she’s out there on a boat in the middle of the sea, what is she going to do? Very scary situation.

Sounds like a plan Dennis from It’s Always Sunny would cook up. I do wish when people told these stories, they’d share who the other person was. Context is key…while there is no crime here…I’d surely like to hear their perspective. Especially because it’s mentioned that it seemed like just another day out at sea. So…what other famous 18 year olds got finessed to be there is my thought. I’m sure the guy in bed is glad to not have to explain the event.
Even if you’re in your 50s, this is terribly wrong and shocks a person. Fuck that guy. I hope he gets exposed.
I hope all these parents who pushed their child actor children into Hollywood and didn’t realise the danger they were putting their kids in are holding their heads in shame.
Yeah, a lot of the information is just surfacing now, but if my kid messaged me to say they’re hopping on a boat with a bunch of random older men, I’d need to have a word with them.
These endless Hollywood stories of absurd and horrible things happening where no one ever gets named for fear of lawsuits or whatever is exhausting.

She’s been through so much at such a young age, like so many child actors. A few years ago she talked about how she was given “happy pills” at 15 before red carpets by adults who were supposed to be looking out for her. Later spiraled into more use later. Hate it

The friend who put her in that position….I presume she’s talking about Diana Jenkins, the rich socialite who was rumored to have been yachting Hayden and other young actresses to rich and powerful men?
Sucks for her but why do these stories always come out when these girls are no longer on top of the world?

Maybe I’m jaded by all the grifting going on these days, I mean, she’s 38 years old now. If this happened to you then call out the person or persons by name. To me, keeping it a mystery or only saying things like “”somebody I had grown to trust” and “an undressed man who was very famous” reeks of a marketing tactic for her new book “out May 19th”.
Maybe she’s afraid of defamation without proof. I don’t know, I just hate that the current flood of grifters has forced me into being such an untrusting skeptic but here we are.

So sad but so true. If you want to make it in Hollywood, there’s a good chance you have to have some sort of sex with people to to continue to move up. Some people do it, and do very well. Others do it and nothing happens. Then there’s those who realize this early and say fuck it, I don’t want anything to do with this sick and twisted way of life.

I’ll never forget watching Attack of the Show on G4 back in the day as a teen and they had a countdown for Hayden’s 18th birthday to celebrate she was legal now. Looking back at it…. Yeesh.
The way people with money and power exploit enthusiastic young people with a dream sickens me. Exploitation in this industry is rampant. There is a lot of ignorance of it lower on the chain, but everyone making decisions is attempting to manipulate and exploit others. It’s a really fucked up way of looking at the world.

I urge you to listen to he retell the story. It’s worse than you think. She was a child and it was a much older man where she was paraded down the stairs to him where he was naked on a bed and she was left there by a woman she’d trusted and literally put in his bed. She describes realizing she was on a boat and couldn’t run if she’d tried. Just… horrific stuff.
