      Important to note that a key reason why the budget gap can now be closed is the agreement with Gov. Hochul to top up state-level financial assistance by an additional $4bn, totaling $8bn over two years and in the process, avert the need to raise property taxes in the city.

      Crazy what happens when you actually “cut waste” instead of just using it as a guise to steal people’s data.  

      Mamdani is really showing how quick and easy it is to actually serve your constituents.

      Weird thing in all this is that Mamdani is portrayed as an anomaly when he should be the norm. Americans drooling over him is simultaneously kinda funny and sad. Like a victim living with an abuser their whole love and surprise when meeting a normal person who treats you like a person. Happy for New Yorker and hope Americans now have a higher benchmark for their politicians 🙌🏻
