      Seriously fuck glioblastoma to the moon and back, lost my mom to it. Jason seemed like a really good person, will not forget him taking #98 to honor Matthew Shepard.

      I have a low grade brain tumor and was excited about all the cool stuff he was trying. Thought if anyone could beat it, it would be him. So so sadden to see this.

      Fuck cancer. My brother died May 4 of colon cancer at 39. Unfair, 47 is so so young. He was a pioneer.

      If you don’t follow sports it was a huge deal at the time, no one before him had openly come out as gay while still playing in any of the major sports. Crazy it took until 2013 for that to happen.
