    1. My case for late night: I am brazillian. Late night is the only way I can stomach learning about international news without going insane. Love you, guys ❤

    2. Each has a different style: Kimmel – the loud-mouthed snark machine; Myers – the sycophantic-with-guests but vicious about the government jokester; Oliver – the brilliant, dry-witted, absurdist, passionate-about-justice Brit; Fallon – the hyperactive puppy who people seem to love for that exact reason; and Colbert – the elder statesman, with a laser-like wit that can just take you out at the knees, but all wrapped up in his extremely gentlemanly exterior. Love them all, but Colbert is my favorite. I'm sticking my fingers in my ears about his coming exit. Full-blown denial here. 😭😱

    3. LOVE YOU FOREVER-N-EVERAFTER STEPHEN!!!! You have given me some of the best laughs AND been one of the greatest MORAL INSPIRATIONS OF. MY. LIFE. Sincerely. I have followed your example and JOINED in SUPPORT OF EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of the ISSUES and EFFORTS and ORGANIZATIONS that YOU SUPPORT! There is NO DOUBT WHATEVER that you have entertained and enriched an uncountable numbers of lives, including mine. May you be blessed with peace and strength and ease of your burdens…Steph in Ontario, Canada…

    4. These are like war time joke correspondents. they've been through it all with us, every step of the way, these two sets of dark years of the orange clown. they're missing Jon Stewart and his crew.

    5. I think I've been in denial about Stephen leaving…. it's sinking in now, and I'm realizing I was hoping all along that someone would change their minds at the last minute. Stephen's absence will create an incalculable hole in my online viewing life.💔 I just really hope he will pop up somewhere else where I can follow him… 😥 Stephen is hands down my favorite late night host, not that I don't like all of the gentlemen present in the show tonight

    6. The Best of the BEST. What a beautiful group of great people/friends/humanitarians. Just makes me cry. And yes, Jon is missed, but there has to be a Survivor!! Thank you dear Gentlemen. You are all LOVED so much
You all bring levity and intelligence to the world
I will never ever watch cbs (crappy bulls*it shows)

    7. As a national viewer, I've always heard of these 'late night' shows, mentioned in American TV-shows as a punchline that I never really understood, and spoken of in awe from the Danish networks. It's a very American cultural thing; something that made us all want to seem as cool and sophisticated and fun as Americans. … I won't say more, just know that what you have is special. Keep fighting for it!
