I had no idea she was getting dogpiled on Twitter. Honestly, I like babydoll dresses, I myself own peter pan collared dresses. The only thing I found weird was the performance for the Spotify Billionaires Club. You can’t watch it and say the movements combined with the outfit wasn’t strange. That’s the only thing.

I don’t understand why people can’t see that both sides have validity. They’re literally called babydoll dresses yes there is some history of infantilizing. It is also very feminine and cutesy. Surely we all have more important things to talk about – like perhaps the real legitimate issues women have going on?

damn, character arc for real. i remember she was tearing olivia apart accusing her to copy the live through this cover, when olivia even told how much she loved her. 🫠

I’ve never wanted the Internet to shut up about a “controversy” more, and that’s saying something.
Literally nothing to see here. Girl can dress how she wants idgaf

I think she’s right about the babydoll dresses being nothing serious but also. Olivia def isn’t doing it like Courtney Love did it. Hers is more coquettish and clean.
Olivia recently named dropped Courtney as the inspo for recent fits in an interview. While it’s def true she got inspiration from her I don’t really see the resemblance. Either way let her wear what she wants.

PR team is working overtime, even reaching out to Courtney Love, now gaslighting and deflecting any objective critique. I haven’t seen anyone angry about it on reddit, only creeped out and uncomfortable by her styling and actions and movements, like crawling on the floor and lifting her dress to flash her bloomers/panties. And not all babydoll dresses look the same or are styled the same. The issue is not babydoll dresses itself, there’s nothing wrong with babydoll dresses for ADULT women. It IS creepy when an adult woman wears a babydoll dress that looks like it was made for a child, and looks like a toddler nightgown, and is so short it looks like a shirt and exposes your bloomers. No need to play the victim and call us gross for calling it out. Courtney Love was not the same
