      Damn the difference between the posters and the season could not be more night and day. Been sooooooooooo boring.

      Lol, none of that is happening I bet. This whole season has been a real nothing burger.

      Just setting up a spin off while ignoring the other one, same plot beats from previous seasons, filler and no sense of urgency.

      Ya know, everyone is complaining on every post about this season… But we are all still watching and it is still entertaining. It’s not Game of Thrones level failing and we’d be silly to think it would end in a way that we all liked.

      Homelanders scenes make it worth it šŸ˜‚šŸ¼

      I just feel “The Boys” have gone through a “carbon copy” of the issues the last season of GoT had. Mega rushed, plots that didn’t made sense, or fell to the wayside to less important ones and so on. At this point, I don’t think any kind of resolution “The Boys” make, will be satisfactory to the majorityt of the viewers.

      I say this as someone who has not seen this show but Iā€™m kinda glad itā€™s ending so I can stop hearing about certain (very male dominated) parts of reddit can stop talking about how Erin Moriarty ā€œruinedā€ her face with plastic surgery and now every time they have to think about her they get sad. I will always be an Erin stan because of reddit

      Well, we are just officially five whole days away from the show’s unfortunate series finale, guys. We shall see how it all ends for the gang throughout the whole entire thing.

      I gave up after episode 5, but hopefully they stick the landing for the finale.

      Idk how I missed this but Iā€™m gonna copy and paste what I wrote in the daily thread:Ā 

      I feel crazy for being one of the only people who liked the silly The Boys episode with all the celeb cameos. The rest of the season has been so lackluster that it was nice to have a fun episode, even if it didnā€™t really move the plot forward that much.Ā 

      That said, I canā€™t even be bothered to watch the last two episodes. If the series finale is good I might revisit, but it seems like they have spent the entire last season trying to promote the dumb prequel seriesā€¦.which feels real fucking stupid. A better promo for the new series would be making the last season actually good!!!!!

      I don’t think I’ve seen a show tread water narratively right up until the final episode, and now there is no chance they can reward the audience’s patience with payoffs in a 1 hour slot.

      For a show that parodied the genre, it certainly feels like the last episode is going to a tropey CG fight where my brain just switches off.

      I stop after season 3 and Iā€™ll just pretend that plan worked and Ryan was collateral damage considering heā€™s apparently done nothing the past 2 seasons. The problem is season 3 kinda gave everyone good arcs to their characters I donā€™t see how they could go anywhere else meaningful.

      Itā€™s really a victim of its own success. You gonna turn down 2 more seasons and various spinoffs? The way the industry is going you hold on to anything thatā€™s a hit. They just ran out of juice though
