      Wow what a mix of his parents! Glad to see a Hollywood kid graduating from college.

      So his sash is a bit weird saying he’s the first person to graduate college because both of his grandparents (Reece’s parents) are college professors, Reece attended but did not graduate Stanford (because her career took off) and one of his grandparents from his dads side also graduated college.

      It’s not so much as 1st generation as much as it’s skipped a generation in this case- also when people talk about being 1st generation it usually connotes overcoming some socioeconomic adversity that that your parents weren’t able to, not because your a nepo-baby, so that’s a bit weird. Good on him for graduating though.

      I’m legit first generation and didn’t even know what that meant and didn’t take advantage of it when applying to college. This nepo baby has all the means

      Was Ryan there? He posted some photos of the graduation but not any that actually show him there.

      Also agree with others- you’re not first gen if your grandparents went to college!
