I somehow knew what she was going to say, who doesn't like that movie? Men who don't like rom coms even like that movie. The scene in Staten island when they're in the bathroom when Home plays has damn near been emotional torture to watch at certain points of my life. I wish hollywood would make more rom coms for theaters, it feels like they just live on Netflix now. The drama was the closest thing I've seen to one in theaters in a long time but it was kind of a darker take. I want classic rom coms and I would love a lesbian one that has the traditional feel of straight ones , with a butch and femme lesbian
THIS IS THE BEST TAKE… I always found Amy Poler so annoying and dislikable in movies and shows (yes even parks and rec) I’m still not a huge fan but this podcast definitely humanizes her A LOT I’m still not a fan but I’ll definitely watch the shorts… I’m a cinephile have watched movies from all eras sooo fuck off with any opinions 😂
