My dad was a tour manager and the band he worked for played at red rocks every year for like ten years. I lived in Denver during that time. It is standard to have oxygen backstage for the artists and anyone working.

They have football teams practice for the higher elevation before they have to play in Denver

It must be really weird to be a fan of someone whose fanbase is almost entirely artificial.
Like I can’t imagine waking up and listening to someone like Sombr or Youngblud knowing that almost everyone else in the ‘fandom’ is a literal bot.
Like going to a rave where everyone but the DJ is a cardboard cutout

It really is so interesting how segmented pop culture can be cause I have no idea who this is

Red Rocks is rough if you’re not used to the elevation.

I’m from the East Coast, the first time I visited Colorado I got elevation sickness. It’s no joke!

6.4k ft elevation ain’t that deep… try 11k in some parts of Peru. That stuff is next level

I’m in Colorado right now for work and I’m already freaked out about the elevation sickness. But red rocks is a dream venue

I love seeing Yungblud pop up on this sub!

I went to Movie on the Rocks about a month after I moved to Denver and I had to take a break walking from the parking lot to the venue, I was so out of breath. The elevation sneaks up on you.

I was a 5 mile a day runner when I moved from DC to Colorado Springs. I nearly passed out just moving a couch in, and the next day ran 3/4 of a mile before actually collapsing. I have to imagine oxygen treatments are pretty commonplace for energetic performers there.

Is this where those exclusive pay 100$ runners have their shit?

I live here and Red Rocks kicks my ass. You walk uphill at a steep incline, get in, then walk uphill some more to your seats and the vendors. Absolutely 💯 worth it.
