I love Shrek as a cinematic masterpiece but I love it most because of how petty it is.
Making a villain basically named Lord Fuckward and have him look exactly like Michael Eisner is iconic

So in Fifth Grade I had to deal with the trauma of my teacher dying while I was a student in his class that year. This movie came out a week before he died, and I remember watching it the weekend after he passed and just feeling better because it was so left field for my 11 year old ass XD. So yeah this movie holds a special place in my heart.
