90 Day Fiancé’s Jenny Slatten Details ALS Diagnosis | E! News

Jenny Slatten shared her emotional health journey after revealing she has been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. In an interview with People published May 19, the 90 Day Fiancé star shared that she received the diagnosis last December after experiencing symptoms for about a year. “We’re doing what we can,” Jenny said. Her husband, Sumit Singh, explained that the first signs appeared in late 2024 when Jenny suddenly began choking while drinking water and later had trouble swallowing pills. At first, the couple believed it could be some type of infection, but her health became more concerning when Jenny’s speech began slowing down. During a trip to New York City for a 90 Day Fiancé holiday event, fans noticed the changes too. After online speculation connected her symptoms to ALS—the same disease Jenny’s father battled—the couple sought another medical opinion, which confirmed early signs of ALS.
