Machine Gun Kelly tells Yungblud to “shut the f*ck up” and claims he cancelled his tour due to low ticket sales and blamed it on mental health and that his tickets are still the same price as everyone else under a video of Yungblud talking about live music becoming “inaccessible”

Machine gun Kelly talks to underage girls and couldn’t even think of an original name. Spend some time googling 1920s and 30s gangsters and the actual machine gun kelly and then attempt to take this little prick seriously. Especially if you need a good laugh.

    2. I am not particularly a fan of his, but he did a show near me which was absolutely much cheaper than most other artists. I did not go, but I follow the venue to see if there’s anything interesting worth seeing.

Having mental health issues also doesn’t mean you can’t go to a restaurant. I’m fairly confident there is a huge difference between going out to eat and doing a live performance.

I say all this as someone very familiar with mental health issues. MGK also seems to be commonly bothered by the success of other young artists.

I’m sorry are you not supposed to go to Nobu when having a mental health crisis??

Yungblud was talking about how ticket prices are becoming too expensive for people to afford, I don’t see anything wrong with that statement? And MGK said “you couldn’t sell tickets” which yeah, he literally said it was becoming too expensive for people to afford. People thinking MGK said something profound when he was just being an absolute baby over another artist talking about wanting cheaper options for live shows is so weird.

Isn’t this the guy who got wedding rings with Megan Fox that would skin their fingers if they took them off or some dumb shit?

I’m not saying there couldn’t be other factors in the tour cancellation, but a mental health crisis has never stopped me from enjoying sushi.

    7. Well he’s a white guy who calls him self Yungblud and the other is a white guy who like young ones…sooooooooo

    8. MGKs current tour tickets are about $50 for decent seats and a 3.5 hour show with Julia Wolf. Say what you want about the guy but he puts on a hell of a show and he doesn’t charge an insane amount for it.

The last show I saw of his prior he toured with Avril Lavigne and Iann Dior for about the same price 4 years earlier.

This will not be the next drake v. kendrick. Let’s acknowledge it once and move on. Don’t give it anymore energy 🫩

    10. I’m sorry? Even if Yungblud canceled a tour for low ticket sales, maybe it’s because the price of the tickets are just too fucking high? Who cares if he went to Nobu. This is some petty bullshit and unfortunately i’m invested now

Me and my best friend literally feasted on sushi while going thru major depressive episodes haha

On one hand, MGK is right about Yungblud being a jumped-up, preachy, posh dipshit. On the other hand, when it comes to a dispute between MGK and anyone else, I never like to find myself on the MGK side of the fence. So that’s a bit of a pickle for me.

I don’t say this as any kind of MGK hater/Yungblud fan, but I’ve noticed MGK is a massive hypocrite.

He stormed into a bands green room at a festival trying to fight them all saying they were talking shit about him on the internet. They never said anything and he chalked it all up to how bad he was doing mentally feeling like everyone was against him.

He said there are no interesting “rockstars” anymore because nobody has an act and they all dress and act too normal (“people need to take risks” etc.). Very soon after that, he went on a stage rant about how corny and weird Slipknot is and how he’s “glad that’s not him”.

Obviously something like Slipknot is divisive, but it’s a bit contradicting to go on a self righteous rockstar rant like he did and to also be so critical of someone who’s been successful doing the exact thing he’s preaching. All because he doesn’t like them. Same with openly attacking someone in relation to mental health while you’ve clearly had your days (and make your music > fortune on the topic).

      He’s right though…

Artists preaching about ticket prices and then not changing their prices is insane.
