    1. Many of the laws were poorly advertised and doctored were concerned about what was and was not legal based on what they understood- not what the law said. Some laws really are crap however- most though do cover this stuff but drs don’t understand legalese anymore than lawyers understand medical jargon.

    2. People in the comments who don't think this is realistic, do your damn research women are DYING. If you cared about life you'd give a fuck about this

    3. YES!!!!!! This! All of this!!! Lawmakers who haven’t actually seen a woman’s reproductive parts let alone that they couldn’t label them on a graph are making laws about OUR bodies that most doctors do not agree with. (I’m assuming there are some MAGA minded doctors out there so I’m not going to say all doctors agree.)

    4. The problem is that people are putting the consequences of the vaguely written law above their patient care.

Do the job, help the person, deal with the consequences later. Duh.

    5. Lawmakers make laws vague so exceptions and loopholes can be made for cases like this, people who are not lawyers don’t know how to exploit them properly until other people do it.

    6. Mark my words!!! Women and teens will be going to back room surgery or harm themselves because of unwanted or needed surgeries that proper doctors and hospitals are too afraid to act.

    7. These shows are always hilarious, like, you get a whole group of writers brainstorming how their medics are going to rage against the evil system between coworker sex and trauma and they still get everything wrong.
