Well…try not being a dick….the guy has a reputation on and off set. Shame, I do like most his projects.
Teller addressed the 2015 Esquire profile that had categorized him as “kind of a dick.”:
> “That was so mishandled. The reason why I have not done profiles is because I said, ‘Wow, if I’m not doing this interview on camera, this person can misquote things or put things out of order or say things that didn’t happen.”
> “It felt like such a violation of what actually transpired. I told my team, ‘Guys, I don’t think I’m doing this again, because I’m reading this and this doesn’t sound like me to me. This is not life, so why would I ever want to be a part of something where they can just put that in?’ So it’s unfortunate that being a good person, that doesn’t sell. People want to click on the negativity. If you go to bed and put your head on your pillow and how you treat people truly, that’s what matters. That [2015] interview was like 12 years ago. The actors, the directors, the crew, the producers, you can’t hide who you are when you’re on set.”
Miles Teller shut the production of a TV series down because he didn’t want the COVID vaccine. He is a dick. Fuck him.

There are so many actually awful people out there that it always boggles my mind how personally offended people get when a random celebrity supposedly has the reputation of being a dick.
Honestly he needs a better publicist. Unless he is truly some horrible prick who can’t hide it (which they all can since they’re actors) this would be so easily fixed by just doing the right profiles etc. even Jesse Eisenberg was able to overcome this perception.
I’ll always remember the interview where he insisted that he was better looking than everyone thought. you can argue it was just a bad joke, but definitely something a dick would say🤷🏼♂️

I work in film and my best friend was the production office coordinator on a movie of Miles’.
The verdict was that he was “kind of a dick”.
I can’t be the only person who has no idea who this is.
He should play Mark Zuckerberg in a biopic about how much of a piece of sh*t Zuckerberg is and I think the public would love Teller for it.
