      Great pics, but they went a little crazy with the contouring on Charlize’s cheeks! Way too dark.

      I wish they didn’t show the water mechanism in the first photo of Anne! Took me out of the fantasy. Her second photo is gorgeous though 

      Zendaya absolutely ate, and the third shot of Lupita is probably my favorite of this spread. It’s close between Z’s third shot and L’s third

      As much as I love all of these actresses, I do not like this photoshoot. Hardly any of these images are very flattering IMO.

      Zendaya is so gorgeous. Charlize looks weird, i never thought she was pretty but I wonder if it’s mostly because she seems to be evil.

      Unpopular opinion but…

      …I kinda miss those crazy Annie Leibovitz spreads that had a whole ass story to them like Killers Kill, Dead Men Die 🫣

      I feel like that era Leibovitz would have absolutely *killed* with an elemental themed photoshoot with notes from The Odyssey.

      This is just kinda… Forgettable. I feel like especially with these particular actresses who have *such* a heavy sense of, idk, character to their looks this shoot could have been a lot more interesting.

      Zendaya does have an earth element look to her. Lupita does have a fire element look to her. Theron does have an air look to her and I can see Anne representing the water element well.

      But the execution just feels so phoned in. The concept was ambitious but execution was anything but.

      Charlize Theron looks like a young Glenn Close in this shoot. That is very much a compliment. Fierce.

      Lupita is beautiful but I just feel like these aren’t great pictures of her?

      edit to clarify i mean the pictures themselves aren’t nice, SHE looks amazing

      These are all incredible! The only one I don’t like is the one showing the sprinkler in Anne’s first shot. It doesn’t make sense since literally every other photo in this set does not feature that much background.

      Imo Lupita would make a better Athena, she has that striking beauty of the goddess of wisdom and war strategy (she’s also my favorite Greek god). Zendaya can be an iconic Helen if Nolan let her decide the costumes.

      They all are stunning but I’m loving the fire and water symbolism Lupita and Anne’s bc I feel like it ties into their roles for the odyssey really nicely (or maybe I’m reading too much into it lol)
