She had it right. It could have double meaning, you guys are on the wrong interpretation. "Thank you for honoring me tonight." Interpreted as: Prince simply being there, bestows honor to her. Literally, "it's an honor to be in his presence." She literally explained it beforehand, and thanked him for that.
