Loved her performance but not quite sure how I feel about the movie. It was too cruel and bleak for me.
As much as I would love this, horror movies get snubbed all of the time. Look at Toni Collette in hereditary. For some reason, award shows just hate horror and don’t respect it.
Let’s not make the Hereditary mistake again, Academy.

The fact that she said she was scared of horror, I was AMAZED. That performance was a true love letter to the horror genre
this movie messed with me for a couple days, it’s one hell of a horror movie and Navarette gave a very harrowing performance. The movie was smart to show how much of a terrifying situation it was for Nikki than just for Bear. And Bear himself wound up being a real piece of shit and the movie didn’t hide that either

I loved her on Superman and Lois and she was even better in this. She’s really come into her own with this one.
