      Call it creative choices all you want but every decision I see about this movie feels crowd sourced. 

      Standard Greek hoplite armor? Check

      The same 5 famous actors? Check

      Random (non-actor) celebrities in key roles? Check 

      Brown and gray color palette for a historical setting? Check 

      Weightless dialogue to make it easy for second screen viewing? Check

      I’m still going to watch this. I’m going to give it a fair and honest shot as I believe Nolan is a capable filmmaker. but I also have very little faith that this is any sort of a passion project

      People are weird. If I don’t like something, I click off and move on. I don’t watch. And don’t engage. It’s crazy to me how as a culture and society people have embraced rage so much. People focus more on things they dislike, than things they like. So strange.

      Lol best case scenario this shit passes for the most part and in 50 years we discuss old tv and movies and when someone asks “ why is the audience review so low on the odyssey” we can say they cast a black woman as a character from a 2500 year old poem conservatives have never read and they got mad, oh and “why was the final season of stranger things reviewed so poorly?” A gay actor, playing a character who they spent 5 seasons slowly but obviously setting up as gay came out to his friends and conservatives got mad. “Season 5 of the Bo-“ *taps a sign that says “conservatives got mad”

      It’s so funny to me that they are doing this to Christopher Nolan of all people.

      Have they even seen his filmography? It doesn’t scream “diversity”.

      The internet is mad because Nolan didn’t make his movie based on a fictional story filled with made up people, places, creatures, gods, and events historically accurate. If that isn’t the epitome of stupidity I’m not sure what is.
