I love Julie! Incredible actress and humanitarian. She reminds me so much of my grandmother, I spent so much time with her watching the sound of music when she was sick with cancer. I am deeply fond of Ms. Andrews and I hope she is doing well. Lovely to see her <3

A queen’s appearances are never rare, everyone else is simply seen *too* much.

Love Julie big time, hope she’s doing well ❤️

    3. My mom used to look like Julie Andrews in her sound of music days (and she’s also an ex nun). Someone once approached my mom and asked for her autograph thinking she was Julie Andrew’s and when my mom said no the woman said “ok but I know you’re her” so somewhere some woman has a Julie Andrews is a bitch story but it’s really just MamaSoma

Dame Julie! 🩷🩷 This is extra lovely as I have a close family member who was recently diagnosed.

    5. Not even a millisecond into the video and hearing her voice made me take a sigh of relief. Crazy how she still can calm generations down just be talking. Legend shit right there!

I thought that the VO for Lady Whistledown in this season of Bridgerton sounded kind of odd, I was wondering if they got someone else to do a Julie Andrew’s impersonation—but I think her voice just sounds slightly different now! Still iconic ♥️

She still sounds SO young. I know many people her age and they all have raspy, strained voices. Her voice is beautiful and clear

    8. Julie Andrews and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton, created a lovely collection of poems called Julie Andrews’ Collection of Poems, Songs, and Lullabies [https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/6419933-julie-andrews-collection-of-poems-songs-and-lullabies]

It’s probably available at your local library.

      She’s so cool.

S.O.B. is one of the funniest movies of all times with her!  Watch it if you haven’t.

An absolute queen. Wonder what connection she has to the cause – had to do a quick Google to check I hadn’t missed her announcing a Parkinson’s diagnosis.
