Forgot to add context they were broken up before filming the final episode of The OC where they got married she said in the OC podcast she chose to wear a wedding dress she would never wear in real life and also stuck her tongue out in the scene in the show to make it more unreal for her

This was the first celebrity breakup that actually affected me pretty hard lol.
I thought they were so good together and their off screen relationship really enhanced the on screen chemistry on The OC. Which sometimes doesn’t happen with couples who date on the same show.
When they reconnected on Rachel’s podcast I felt some weird parasocial closure for my younger self. It was nice to see that there was little to no drama with them and that they were still friendly.
Remember when we used to get 20+ episodes of a show each year? I miss not having to wait 10 months or two years for a new season.
