It’s not the same ten books I see on every list which leads me to below he actually read them

Some good choices thete. Hopefully he can make another list to promote Canadian authors!

Calling your memoir “My Struggle” certainly is a Choice. And it’s even worse in the original Norwegian.

Oh damn, Han Kang  – The Vegetarian is phenomenal. Also love The White Book, nice list.

*Martyr!* is an absolute masterpiece. Kaveh has an unbelievable gift.

    6. I am 9 out of 13 on this list and these were all some of my favourite reads (except for Les Mis but that’s school trauma). I love it when my taste is validated by hot and popular boys my age.

I love that he picked a lot of women writers! Also these books are big in coquette book circles which makes me giggle to think about him on Pinterest or Tumblr “girlblogging.”

I scrolled thinking he would have the same trashy romance novels I read. Oh, how silly am I

Im always happy when people read, I still find it strange that the input to read a book has to be given to you by a star and not by yourself

    10. Hell yeah. Anything that gets more people reading is a win in my book (pun intended).

    11. you know what, if this gets the kids to read some actual *books*, he deserves a fucking nobel prize

    12. It’s lasts forever and then it’s over is a unique book that wasn’t for me (maybe it was too deep or abstract for me) so will be interesting to see what other think 😅

The way he is making me listen to the Didion an& Babitz audiobook (that I’m actually enjoying even though it’s completely out of my normal genre picks!)

I can’t miss an opportunity to plug a book that made me laugh, smile, throw things, and sob at 2 am in bed with my husband: The Sign for Home by Blair Fell. I’m insufferable when it comes to this book. It is amazing!!

Damn good recommendations.   I’m adding a couple of these to my TBR list.
