Top Gun: Maverick Actor James Handy Fatally Stabbed, Suspect Arrested After Cryptic Confession

‘Top Gun: Maverick’ actor James Handy was fatally stabbed at his home in a Los Angeles suburb on Wednesday morning. Authorities say his girlfriend’s son, 44-year-old Michael Gledhill, called 911 to confess. He surrendered at the scene and was jailed. His bail was set at $2 million. Handy was born in New York and amassed nearly 150 acting credits over his five-decade career, including ‘Jumanji,’ ‘Arachnophobia,’ ‘The West Wing’ and ‘NYPD Blue.’
