That’s too bad. It was a good film and exactly what a Mortal Kombat movie should have been.

It’s a shame cos it was a fun film.

Would have been better with an actual sound track. The fight scenes could have used that “kick”. Annihilation wasn’t the best but it was fun, the music was perfection; kmfdm, scooter, rammenstein, megadeth, to name a few. A remix of the theme song would have been amazing to tie in nostalgia. Devil may cry on Netflix was well written and made even better by the 90s rock ost.

Good. I dont go to theaters anymore anyways, so bring it to streaming sooner if they want to make money.

There was a remix of the original theme.

It was an awful film.
Good fan service though.

Understandable, it was really nothing special

This one was weird, I don’t really understand why it underperformed to the extent it did. Masters of the Universe everyone expected to bomb, but this one failing was a bit of a surprise to me.

The film cost $80 million and has made **$127,128,663 globally to date.**

It looked terrible. Too much green screen.

I would have watched it the cinema with my lad – But, despite me keeping half an eye out for it – I only noticed it was on the local cinema the day it left and we were both working.
Terrible promotion, it’s like they wanted it to fail after delaying it so long.
Weird.

It was good, but its niche. They werent gonna cover the costs

Hollywood should just stop making comic book/game reboots from the 80s and 90s (i.e Street Fighter, Masters of Universe, Mortal Kombat, etc). The people who watched those shows when they were kids are in their 40s and 50s now. It is not going to appeal to the kids and teens now.

This movie is so fucking good, cant believe it flopped at the box office.

It was a damn fun movie, and wayyyyy better than the first one.

Useless article. The movie was profitable and a third is already in development.

Every movie is gonna bomb right now. No one has any money.

Listen I had fun watching this movie but anyone in here saying this movie is good is out of their goddamn mind. Both of these new Mortal Kombat movies have been terrible. Awful script, terrible acting, questionable cinematography and downright lazy directing.
Major slop but enjoyable slop nonetheless. There’s no surprise it bombed.
