Welp! Never gonna buy from this company who I never heard of until just now, also what kinda name is Cupshe anyway?!

    2. The fact that they took the time out to randomly post two black girls strutting down their runway after this happened is CRAZY. 😑

The company of course will disavow Sophie and can her but we know she just made the mistake of saying their quiet part outlook (and in writing)

    4. Cupshe for those asking is like a shein. Back in the day we had those cheap terrible brands like that, Zaful, Romwe, etc. Another cheap & terribly made “clothing” brand

    5. their designs are already ugly enough to ensure they wouldn’t get my business, this just seals the deal

i bought a swimsuit from them once and the quality and fit both sucked. absolute landfill fodder company.

I’m sure this happens euphemistically all the time but being so blunt is what is going to get this girl fired, not the actual discrimination.

RIGHT AFTER I BUY FROM THEM ARE YOU KIDDING

it’s becoming harder everyday to avoid these awful companies

So there’s just really no shame in being a racist, bigot, nazi, evil anymore?

The way I ran so fast to the comment section on their IG 🫢

Also, for a page with 1.5 mil followers they sure have a disproportionately low like/comment engagement on all their posts. Super sus

Maybe this is proof to folks that black models and influencers DO NOT have the same chances of success. People being more flabbergasted that it is in writing than it being said at all is sending me. They say this face to face and coach their hiring managers to act the same all the time.

    12. Now the proverbial masks are lifted and we know without a doubt how these companies, and people roll, we should NEVER give them our business. EVER. Although I hate the current times we are living in, I am glad people are being exposed for their racism, bigotry and homo and transphobia. So that when things are righted and the current administration is no longer in office, I’ll remember who supported it, and him wholeheartedly. So that when they try to distance themselves, I can remind them of where their true allegiance lied.

    13. Really disappointing because I do a summer bikini haul from there yearly. My Black ass will never “collab” with CupShe ever again.

      what the fuck

edit: obsessed with all the negative comments on their instagram

i had never heard of this brand but one google search alone tells me this has probably always been their policy and they’re finally comfortable saying it out loud. they seriously have the least diverse models and influencers i’ve witnessed in years.

if you don’t want to waste your time googling them, it’s 100% skinny white women, with the exception of one (1) skinny asian woman. i can almost guarantee that this has always been their policy, but they’re okay with saying the quiet part out loud now given the social climate.

Knowing nothing about Cupshe I ordered a swimsuit from them this week to treat myself (because I don’t usually buy nice swimwear)… it’s not even reached me yet and I regret it lol

If there’s one positive that comes out of the current political environment, it’s that all the horribles who used to keep quiet have vocally and loudly exposed themselves for who and what they are. And we’ll remember.

    18. Sophie will take the fall and the company will deny they’re racist even though we know the truth

lol if you go to their website and not their ig there is not a single black person on their home page
