      I always think it’s weird when people say things like “it’s not representative of who I am or who I was in my relationship”.

      Like, okay Mr. Jake Short, maybe it’s not the _only_ part of who you are/were, but it’s literally there on video that it’s representative of _part of who you were_ in that relationship.

      Denying it doesn’t really come across as actually taking accountability 🤷‍♀️

      I was really impressed with the fact nobody in the clip laughed. They all looked horrified, which was an appropriate reaction.

      i know the entire internet has basically been dragging him and he thinks he has to speak out about it but this is a whole lot of nothing. anyway i feel bad for mika who imo is such a standout on the show and deserves to be celebrated for that instead of a relationship that’s now over being dissected like this which i’m sure makes her uncomfortable. ik the internet is very much on her side but it must feel overwhelming how many people suddenly care about this when it probably would not have mattered just a month ago. hopefully it helps that season 2 is filming now and she’ll be busy with that.

      Ugh. They always say it a “joke.” Weird how their “jokes” are basically always misogynistic and disrespectful. Not to mention that it’s not possible to take accountability for what one says, as he claims he’s doing, by brushing off something like that as a “joke.” He’s not sorry he said it, he’s sorry people are calling him out on it.

      Yea it’s probably not representative of who he is bc he’s worse than that clip makes him out to be. The casual way he spoke about his ex so negatively and the way she tried to preemptively answer for him. Yikes.
