Their loss. What a legend!
As a long time F1 fan, I do enjoy when Martin gets ignored and he talks to himself while walking away. The quips and mild annoyance in his voice is often amusing.
But I wish people would be nicer to him if they don’t want to talk, guy is just trying to do his job out here
I actually don’t like this guy lol it’s always cringy to me how he tries to get interviews on the fly. I get he’s always done this, it’s his thing, but yikes.
Rich people disgust me.

Genuinely asking, are they supposed to know who he is? I have never heard of this man.
I think celebs need to be prepped w flash cards a pic of his face and a pic of the sky microphone so they know that of all the people asking for their attention, not to ignore that one. It’s embarrassing to be so uninformed about an event that you show up to.
This is why the “comedy community” welcoming her and saying how nice she is as she pays them via producing money to help her rebrand comes off as complete bs to me. She is not a nasty person but she is nice to people she thinks will help her. Everyone else gets a polite ignore or a distanced wave.
I mean, celebrities don’t owe anyone an interview or comment right? Or is that only for celebs we like ?

This happens a lot, despite what he thinks, Martin Brundle isnt the sole F1 gatekeeper.
The women were invited by a particular team, and likely know fuck all about the sport.
Martin can only embarrass them. Why wouldnt they prefer to speak to friendlier broadcasters?
I honestly don’t understand why PR people, manager or comms agents don’t brief their clients before they walk the grid. Most of them are invited guests, let them know what might happen.
At this point we’ve seen so many Martin interviews that go wrong, people should be aware of him and the power it has when you don’t give him an interview.
Those clips go live immediately after. Give him a 30 second „who are you rooting for“ interview and everything is fine.

You would think celebs will know this and what kind of backlash they will get for ignoring Martin. Funny things is, some of the celebs who ignore him, Martin is richer than them. Even if you don’t want to talk, you can still be polite or say one liner.
