People are going to ignore all the red flags-from the most obvious deadly ones to the ones that subtly suggest issues beyond what is appropriate for someone in charge of millions of lives- because they really hope beyond hope that giving somebody power and entrusting them with those lives will cause them to make good choices, and I’m so sorry but it doesn’t work that way.
You cannot hope someone into being a good representative. They are or they are not and he is showing you that he’s not.

we deserve better, we really do.

Graham’s opponents wanna talk about anything but his popular policies. Graham Platner is a young chud endrosed by Bernie Sanders and Graham will help pass Medicare for all and arms embargo on Israel.

I honestly thought this primary happened months ago. I hate elections in the US. They last FOREVER.

I’m glad the primary voters didn’t fall for the campaign from the AIPAC/Epstein Dems and the MAGA press.
If he was a Nazi he could just run as a Nazi because you can do that today unfortunately. If he really was Fetterman 2.0 Fox News, NYT, Bezos Post, and The Atlantic wouldn’t be circling the wagons against him. The more progressives get elected in the Senate, the harder the “darn we missed it by one vote!” trick becomes.

I just want to point out the way the media is framing this: I’ve seen two headlines with the word “scandal” in it. Meanwhile republicans who have way worse scandals aren’t framed the same way when they win a primary.

I’m definitely skeptical, but, if he votes the way he says he will, he’ll be a net positive

I don’t get what people have to gain by putting down one of the most progressive possible representatives we’ve brought to the table this year. I’m sorry, should Graham just have continued to believe what he used to? Do we actually believe in rehabilitation and forgiveness, or do we just want to seem more morally pure to a bunch of strangers?

Can’t believe the article doesn’t mention the result itself. How much did he win by? No idea. But we have background deep enough to mention Angus King III.
