Zverev won his first Grand Slam at Roland Garros last Sunday and had a scheduled interview with L’Equipe, the biggest sports journal in france. He did not grace the cover of the journal, becoming the first Roland Garros winner not to grace the Monday cover of L’Equipe.
Zverev faced two domestic abuse accusations from two previous partners, and paid 6 figure settlements to end the investigations. He has publicly exhibited violent, antagonistic behaviours on court, notably against umpires.

You can run but the media won’t let you hide
Fuck this dude
It’s kinda crazy I only hear about the domestic abuse cases from an american reddit sub. There is little to no info about this available in Germany. Wow.
The texts messages from one of his victims to a loved one detailing the psychological and physical abuse he put her through are so heartbreaking.
As Blakely Thornton put it, he’s the Chris Brown of tennis, and I hope the media stays on his ass after so many institutions have let it slide.
Funny the press asks this guy but won’t ask Trump about epstein files
And they say accusations ruin men’s careers…
good, i feel like dverev never really gets asked or pushed about these cases, it’s almost like it never happened.
He got asked a question he couldn’t hit back with a racket. Talk about fragile.
L’Equipe, I was not familiar with your game. Super well done and fuck this abuser
Nice, I’m so glad that L‘Epique has a bit of a backbone!!!! So far all media reports on him in Germany have been 100% positive.
The nerve of this man is insane.
This fucker literally played a game once with fresh scratches on his neck from when he tried to strangle his girlfriend earlier.
Sports leagues only give abusers massive platforms with little to no pushback against their awful behavior. Respect to the interviewer for asking these questions and continuing to bring this to light. Abusers shouldn’t win.
