The way Woody Allen looks at the camera, knowing he’s been caught is just scrumptious

I guess it’s no surprise that Woody Allen has always been an AH. But good on Twiggy for standing her ground and flipping the script on him! I know I wouldn’t have had the nerve at 17.

    3. Negging. We need to educate girls on this type of loser behavior. I hate that that shit loser creepy guys try to do. Unfortunately it’s very effective on insecure girls.

It’s so bizarre, like if it were scripted it’d be perfectly written self deprecating bit about being pretentious, but he somehow walked into it unironically.

Gives me the same vibe as Aella on the Whatever podcast. The host with the EQ and IQ of a soggy skid mark tried to talk down to a woman they assumed was dim because she does sex work.

IIRC, she did a lot of tech and data work.

    6. This is so iconic. But I am amazed he didn’t say anything. Like just say Foucault ffs.

    7. To anyone wondering this was not scripted, Twiggy has talked about it.

      > “So I sat there waiting for him to ask me something like, ‘What do you think of America?’ Normal questions. When his opening line was, ‘Who’s your favorite philosopher?’ I can remember the feeling so well; I was so embarrassed, because we were in front of a live audience, and I didn’t know any philosophers,” she continued. “When I said, ‘Who’s yours?’ I was actually pleading with him to help me, which he declined to do.”

      >”He was trying to make me look stupid. My heart sank. I remember looking at him, pleading with my eyes for him to stop. If I was the age he was there, in my 30s, I would never have behaved like that towards someone who was only 17.”
