ZENDAYA IS DONE (not happy with euphoria?!)
Euphoria fans are questioning Zendaya’s silence following the series finale, but her mom is speaking out and it has people thinking even more than Z was probably not happy with what happened with Rue.

It’s really brave of Sam to pariah himself to unite the world in these troubling times. FULL sarcasm!
The big “Dead Lesbian” trope is back!!!!
I think ppl are taking the ending at surface level….She didnt die from a relapse she died because the pills she took for pain were laced….Unfortunately it was written off as an overdose because she was a known addict…..Rue was murdered but it does piss me off that they didnt look into further but realistically speaking based on the circumstances why would they?🤷🏾♀️
hedonists often throw away the people their done playing with, this series was disturbing to even hear about.
seems like creepy couldn't keep masking long enough to finish a show
A character’s plot is not supposed to be guided by the actor’s aspirations for the character, producer or not.
Sam was speaking from the staggering statistics. He's not wrong. Someone like Rue typically DOESN'T make it. She is not the exception; she is the rule. If he were to end the show with sunshine and rainbows and everything is all better, it not only would be unrealistic but it would romanticize the struggle with addiction and, quite frankly, be lying to the audience. At the end of the day I think that although you can always have hope, and exceptions CAN be made, the reality is things will likely not end well so…don't do drugs, kids. That's what Sam was saying.
All that aside though, it was clear that Zendaya and Elordi were not interested in continuing with the show so this was another way to put a nail in the coffin. So to speak. I wouldn't be surprised if a spin-off of sorts is created.
Isn’t the series based on the original Euphoria from that country that nobody likes? 😅
Zendaya did an amazing job, but the writing of Season 3 was garbage. And I don't blame her in the slightest for wanting to just be done with Euphoria.
The only hope that rue has is that she's in heaven with her father
Rue deserved to live.
I really don’t like it when people speak in absolutes about something that has no absolute, like addiction. People like Rue SOMETIMES don’t make it, but sometimes they DO. Sam needs to learn how to think before he speaks.
Of course I wanted a happy ending for Rue. But I think it ended the way it needed to . There is no show without Rue. He gave the show a true ending . And the ending with Ali was absolutely beautifully done.
I’m fine with Rue not making it. But this season didn’t feel like it was about Rue. Ya she was there. But he was so focused and so many new characters. It didn’t feel like euphoria. So when she did die. It felt so lack luster, like a side note.
Euphoria is based on an israeli show and is not Sam Levisons idea
It’s tough… on one hand objectively it is ‘nice’ to see even such a LOVED person being lost to drugs… it shines a REALlight, people are upset on how it ended, as they should be,, fent sucks,, I think people forget that a show doesn’t need to be hopeful but rather impactful (even zendaya saying oh I wish so much for her; that’s the hope for most people around users but the harsh reality is the addiction is greater than the hope)— but subjectively, the producer as a previous drug addict- why did he make it and rue can’t + all the degradation of women is telling
Nothing about that show was ever hopeful. It's a good show but it was always grim and dark. Addicts that are still in the drug and crime world typically don't make it. That's not confusing.
What I found so confounding is that every returning character was either doing sex work or was involved in the sex work industry in some way, despite them mainly going their own separate ways. Lexi was the only character with a vaguely normal arc, and even then, she is positioned as a loser and is barely in the show.
It's like Levinson can't conceive of women in any other context other than that of selling their bodies, and his idea of masculinity revolves around men being violent sex pests with lots of money. He has a teenage boy's vision of gender roles.
I never want to hear Sam Levinson's name after this ever again lol
We need to stop romanticizing drugs! He is right and as painfully as the show ended. Is the reality of that lifestyle! You can recover but understand that most don't get out alive or end up behind bars! I respect his choice! Kids need to stop playing with their lives and start appreciating it and their friends cause you can lose everything real quick!! It's not the addicts that you ever expect who actually end up dead. It's always the ones you love the most who end up losing their lives! The ones who light up any room they walk into. The one who was actually going to be somebody if it wasn't for drugs or that one last high. Rest in peace jaz!💔
Team Zendaya ❤
Rue didn't relapse she was murdered. She watched Alamo take one of the pills in front of her. After enduring the night she just had she would have been in extreme pain. She didnt take those pills to get high. She took them as they are intended. I wonder if this was something that was settled on because it doesn't make sense. I wonder if Sam wanted her to relapse, Zendaya did not and this was the compromise. It doesn't make sense. What he said makes it worse.
She is the most annoying person on TV since Millie Bobby Brown…
I am not saying i agree with much of what Sam does but what I will say…as a child of 2 addict parents. Yes, this is how their story ends. Not everything needs to be roses to coddle everyone who has never experienced loving a hardcore addict. At the end of the day, them being deleted is far easier than them being alive. Different perspective, maybe.
Am I making it up or back in the early seasons they interviewed both Sam and Zendaya and she had said the whole reason she decided to play this character was because Rue was going to have a redemption arc and would end up sober because it loosely mirrored Sam. That’s true. Somewhere along the way Sam changed it 🙄 yea the last season sucked.
I think the ending was perfect and be happy you're alive and well! Be grateful that you can watch it from your couch and that addiction isn't your reality!!💔
15 years off herion 37 years old today with 2 beautiful children, I own my own home and work in family law. Going from a hopeless iv drug user to a productive member of society.I can for a fact, say some people do make it.
the fact you guys still believe levinson and that this was inspired by his life is HILARIOUS!!! he is a ZIONIST!!! israel made their own version of euphoria before this series was even made! Levinson is a zio pig and his sick israeli mind truly shows in this series…
I found the quote "people like rue don’t make it" so annoying. I was addicted to opioids for over a decade and I'm ten years clean with a baby girl and husband. Life can get better if you work at it. People like Rue can make it. 💜
Maybe Sam is trying to say he’s not doing well…. Who knows.
