As a kid I really hated anything with Donald Sutherland because I saw him in a mean role once and he just straight up scared me. As an adult I realise that means he’s actually a great actor because I believed it
I didn’t think they looked similar to his dad when I first watched 24 but this video there’s an uncanny resemblance! Interesting when kids and parents age the same way. Especially nice to see in Hollywood, when natural aging is so feared.l

He is aging like a fine wine! Love love love him in The Lost Boys. One of my fav movies and he’s prob 90 percent why.
I worked on Craft Services for a movie that had Donald Sutherland playing a very small part, he was only on set for a couple of days.
The nicest, polite, no-fuss, humble human ive ever come across.
Of an evening the crew would all sit on the ground with our legs crossed like little kids while he told us stories and answered our questions.
All he ever wanted of an evening was a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and a hot chocolate.

I think it’s a sweet take we don’t see enough of.
We get a lot of stories of young kids being like “hahah I don’t care you’re famous make me pasta now” which are great.
But seeing a son talk about realising how talented his dad is, is great. It’s such a privilege for both sides
