Gavin DeGraw Reveals He’s Never Seen One Tree Hill | E! News

Gavin DeGraw, who penned the ‘One Tree Hill’ theme song “I Don’t Want To Be,” revealed he’s never actually seen the series in an exclusive E! News interview at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction. “I love the show, but I’ve never seen the show,” DeGraw said at the ceremony June 11 in New York. “I love the people on the show, but I’ve never seen it. Is that bad of me?” But it isn’t that DeGraw wasn’t interested in the teen drama starring Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton Morgan and Bethany Joy Lenz. As he admitted, “I don’t watch TV. I hear the show is amazing,” DeGraw continued. “It’s been great to me—and the fans have been amazing to me. Yeah, but I don’t watch TV.
