Taylor Swift Becomes Youngest Woman Inducted Into Songwriters Hall of Fame
Taylor Swift has hit another career milestone! On Thursday, June 11, the Grammy winner became the youngest woman ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame at age 36. Ahead of the ceremony where she gave remarks, Swift posed on the red carpet where she was joined by Sombr, Jimmy Jam, Universal Music Publishing President of North America Evan Lamberg, and CEO and President of the Songwriters Hall of Fame Linda Moran. Once inside, she was seated at a table with her family, including mom Andrea Swift, dad Scott Swift, fiancé Travis Kelce and his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce. Before taking the stage, Steven Spielberg introduced Swift, calling her, “a genuine phenomenon placed in our culture.” In her 21-minute speech, the pop star reflected on her career and became emotional as she expressed gratitude to her family for uprooting “their entire lives” to let her pursue her dreams.
