      Dana White is the guy who goes to foreign countries and speaks slowly and loudly in English thinking everyone will understand him.

      This reminds me of my upbringing in the Midwest. My parents have prominent Nigerian accents (but speak English impeccably — colonization, baby!!!). I remember a friend stating something about my parents needing to speak better English.

      Dana White should feel embarrassed about this but they won’t.

      I feel like I keep swatting away an annoyingly resilient fly. Sometimes I miss it entirely. Other times I barely touch it. There are also times when I really think I got it only for it to come buzzing around again. Eventually though, I always get the fly.
