Konpira Fune Fune Challenge 🍶

Konpira Fune Fune is a traditional Japanese rhythm game that is often played as a drinking game, especially in places with geisha or maiko entertainment. It comes from the Konpira Shrine area and has been around for a long time as a simple but surprisingly tricky test of timing and focus.
Two players sit facing each other with a small object, often a cup or a box, placed between them. They move their hands in a steady rhythm, usually to a short repeating song. On each beat, one player either leaves the object in place or quickly removes it, while the other continues the tapping pattern. The challenge is to react instantly without breaking rhythm.
If the object is there, you’re supposed to tap it. If it’s gone, you’re supposed to tap the table instead. The problem is that everything happens very quickly, and your brain has to keep up with both the rhythm and the sudden changes. If you tap the wrong place or hesitate even for a moment, you lose the round.
What makes the game fun is how easy it looks at first and how quickly people mess up. Skilled players, like maiko, are extremely good at keeping perfect rhythm while also tricking their opponent with fast, subtle movements. For tourists, it often turns into a mix of concentration and laughter, especially after a few drinks.

I like the song she's singing… It sounds like something about a donkey a oink oink and a monkey

Can the woman in the back ground just shut up for a second?🙄 like damn woman, all u do is run your mouth. I want to hear the japanese woman sing and be able to focus on their game. I swear people dont know when to talk and when to shut up nowadays
Then he’s lowkey cursed for all eternity by this lady

During the Edo period, u have to strip if u lose…

It's so easy i always play in my school
Idk if anyone will see my comment but, Yall realise they are trained to go up to like 10-20 times that speed but they are told to let the guests win so they enjoy the visit and I assume so they make more money out of it
The let the customers witn on purpose how adorable❤
Why did she use powdered chalk as make up 😭
I Wana play
Nobody is taking about her face color wtf
Didn’t he lose like three times before she lost?
Where's the silver bowl bonk like Arabs do😂
The description appears to be wrong. It looks like you slap when its there and tap when its gone.
He lost about a quarter of the way through
What a nice and simple, yet perfectly harmonic song she sings. Could someone name it?
Ngl that song make me feel uncomfortable, idk why
She let him win!
Does that mean he can hit?
Hesitation is defeat.
It’s funny cause he put it down at the right time, but he did not keep the rhythm lmao
