What upsets me the most is them putting the final score in their highlights. Not everyone can watch real time and full time FIFA!

Even the TV has the logo covered!

Very unprofessional. I think any competent team could’ve ordered blank labels.

Absolutely absurd.

Ironically this draws far more attention to it than just leaving the labels alone ever would have.

As someone who at Levi’s Stadium today, the stadium really did its best to hide the Levi’s branding. A few employees had to cover the “Levi’s” on their nametags with tape.

If they want to be noticed companies have to pay up. Don’t agree with it, but that’s their strategy.

In Toronto they taped over the logo and brand name of the soap dispensers in the bathrooms. We also had to take the labels off of our disposable water bottles before we were let in (like the paper Dasani labels).

At the Toronto stadium, they taped over the logo on the hand dryers… ridiculous
On the other hand Black Tape companies getting a lot of free exposure.
FIFA is a joke full stop
There was a post in r/CollegeBasketball for March Madness a couple years ago showing how an arena had duct taped 70,000 cup holders.
