Back then, Howard Stern was the only celebrity constantly calling out Seinfeld for dating that 17 year old girl. He brought in Janis Ian to make an adaptation of her song "At Seventeen" making fun of him.

Roseanne made fun of Seinfeld too.
There was a scene in original Roseanne show where Becky was venting that her life is over. Roseanne tells her very calmly not even making fun of her that she is only 16. She has all the time and a whole life in front of her.
But then again at 16 you are definitely too old to marry Jerry Seinfeld.

When I first learned about that 17yo girl, I felt so validated in how I was so creeped out by Seinfeld. I couldn’t watch the show despite wanting to because his face and energy really freaked me out. I would physically recoil everytime I saw his face…gave me nightmares. Def felt irrational at the time but not so much anymore.
Howard Stern hated on Seinfeld partly because he wouldn’t come on the show anymore.
Seinfeld’s been back since then so now he praises him again.
Howard Stern called his co host the N word over and over.
