(Apologies for the Daily Mail as a source, but both Brooklyn and the Beckhams have given statements to the Daily Mail).

    >Friends of David and Victoria Beckham have hit back at the 'nasty accusation' from their estranged son Brooklyn Beckham that they 'choreographed' sister Harper's visit to his mansion.

    >The family spat emerged after the 14-year-old was photographed arriving at his ÂŁ14million Los Angeles home on Friday afternoon reportedly carrying a handwritten letter for her older brother.

    >However, representatives for Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz insisted the circumstances surrounding the visit raised serious questions.

    >**They told the Daily Mail: '[The fact] that photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.'**

    >In response friends close to Victoria and David have said: 'It’s is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother.
'Nothing needed to be said at all so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary.'

    > They have also claimed that Brooklyn hasn't accepted any contact from Harper or his grandparents since the falling out.

    >The photos from Friday show Harper crestfallen as she approached the Beverly Hills property before leaving just moments later.

    >It later emerged that Brooklyn, 27, was not even in California at the time.

    >Instead the aspiring chef and media personality shared an Instagram story showing himself out for a run in New York City, making it clear that he was on the opposite side of the country when his younger sister arrived at his front door.

    1. I mean he’s not wrong, why would photographers be outside his empty house if nobody called them?

In California, paparazzi cannot legally photograph a celebrities’ minor child due to a privacy law passed in 2013.

This means David and Victoria 1000% organized and signed off on it or else Harper would not be able to be photographed

I knew the paps were called by David and Victoria the moment i saw the headlines a few days ago. Crying shame

    4. Here’s the thing. Mail, FedEx, UPS, couriers, all exist. No need for all this drama. It’s obviously staged.

      Two things can be correct.

      1. Daily Mail can be correct that this is a stunt and was staged… and it is. Because if they wanted to get them a handwritten letter they could have just had it delivered.

      2. It’s a well known fact that the daily mail is full of shit. But being full is shit doesn’t make you wrong 100% of the time.

The statement from David and victoria is interesting.

All those descriptive words “incredibly sad…horrible accusation…desperately misses…invent….nasty accusation…really unnecessary..”

This is exactly how my mother would react anytime I called her out on any of the cruel and manipulative things she did or said to me. So much deflection and dramatic language painting me as a monster for having eyes and feelings and calling her out when she tried to manipulate the narrative of what was happening.

I’m not a fan of any of these people.

But the kid has a point. Why the camera crew? He wasn’t even home. Pointing that out isn’t “nasty” and “unnecessary” nor “horrible”. And the parents overreaction speaks

I’m glad I’m not famous enough for my dirty laundry to be aired so publicly.

Nah, I’m lying, I’d be putting my family on blast. Let the world know my cousin signed his family up for membership in the KKK.

I don’t understand how anyone can back up Victoria and David when if you even pay slight attention, his claims are very believable and I really feel awful for him.

I visited the sub dedicated to David once and it was shortly after the “very public no contact” thing happened – people were posting pictures of Brooklyn as a child with his parents and just generally actually “so heartbroken” for them….. and I ended up commenting and getting banned because it was *creepy* (I basically made a comment like “I get the feeling a lot of people on here must be estranged from their adult children because yikes” and yeah it upset people lol). One response I got was, “she (his *wife*) is KNOWN to cause problems wherever she goes, everybody knows this” yet I could find nothing negative on her, until after he went NC with his parents. Convenient that *after* he asked for space all these articles come out about how “terrible” she is.

And also, simply because Brooklyn has asked people to stop, which should be enough, so to just openly post pics from his childhood and “mourn” is a whole new level of parasocial attachment.

no matter how much people are annoyed by him, there’s simply never a chance i’m not going to side with a child alleging their parents are mistreating them 🤷‍♀️ i’d rather be wrong than participate in the abuse by public media

Jfc. As a parent I get the Beckhams want to maintain a relationship with their child. But as a parent who was once a child in Brooklyn’s shoes, jfc leave him the fuck alone, everytime they do this shit and step all over his boundaries, they’re pushing him away further

Poor Harper. Putting her in the middle of all this and making sure it’s photographed is so bizarre. Shame on Victoria and David.

    11. Vast-Percentage-7312 on

I am team no one here and think they all suck (except Harper) but the thing with no contact is that the more you push, the more you push the person away. If his parents ever want him back in their lives, the best thing they can do is leave Brooklyn alone for the time being.

    12. Regardless of who you believe, in this particular situation I fully agree with Brooklyn.

Harper is 14 and arrived in a SUV (so clearly driven by someone and someone on Team Beckham would have had to okay this if not she’s been kidnapped?) in the same outfit she wore to David’s event.
You’re telling me she did this off her own back on David’s big day when there was probably something (a meal/partyetc) planned after to celebrate? On this particular day? Alone without anyone trying to stop her? Nope not buying it for a second.

I feel most bad for her because it is horrible to see your family break down, but this is tacky from Team Beckham.

    13. emptyhellebore on

He’s right about her being used. They need to leave him alone. He’s made his boundary clear, if they ever hope to reconcile they need to respect his wishes right now.

    14. whiterussian802 on

This happens all the time, but we don’t recognize it because it’s happening to everyday people and not the one percent…

    15. donttrustthellamas on

Ergghhh I feel like Victoria and David come off worst in this because there’s blatantly shenanigans.

The whole thing is an ick. These people aren’t important enough to involve us in their feud.

I mean, they definitely did, they made sure paparazzi was there to capture Harper going

    17. Chaoticgood790 on

I said this exact thing yesterday when I saw these photos. Gross move on their part

At this point I do think Beckhams as terrible parents as he’s making them out to be. They just seem to be so money orientated despite having generational wealth.

      Anything to keep themselves relevant.

Sure Brooklyn has done some dumb things but I can fully see how the Beckhams wanted him to be the heir apparent to keeping the machine rolling and he’s just not enjoyed it
