I don't know the whole story as I haven't looked into it. But from what this video has started –
If Ryan Reynolds told the stunt lady not to wear the crash helmet for whatever reason and the poor lady dies as a result – then Ryan Reynolds should be up on some kind of either manslaughter or death by misadventure as he contributed to her death by saying don't wear the helmet. So how he's not doing jail time is beyond me. And if the state where the film was being made is a helmet wearing state – that's even worse as Ryan was breaking the laws of the state or was it a case where the death of a black lady means zero due to the revenue that the film is bringing to the state? As I remember Ryan Reynolds does like to make that point when dealing with the local government of the state.
So a black stunt lady death which might be due to her being told not to wear a crash helmet – means zero in 2026? And yes the question has to be asked…….what if she was white? ( Yes, that's a sentence from a film. But still means the same thing).
