Court of Valencia has imposed a sentence of eight and a half years in prison on footballer Rafa Mir, an Elche CF player and former Valencia and Sevilla forward, after being tried on May 28 for a crime of sexual assault and another of assault against a young woman. The events took place on the night of August 31, 2024, at his home in Bétera.
The ruling also sentences the second accused, footballer Pablo Jara, to two and a half years in prison and a fine as the perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault, another against moral integrity, and a minor offense of assault against a different young woman.
